The Shell RIDE SR-5S is a well-built premium electric scooter with a dual braking system. At only 30.4 lbs (13.8 kg), it's light and foldable for convenience making it extremely portable and easy to store. Yet, the robust build offers a max load of 220 lbs (100 kg).
Enjoy an exhilarating ride at speeds up to 15 - 20 mph (25 - 32 km/h) while you cruise up 18 - 20 miles (30 - 32 km) between battery charges. Speeds and range depend on the user, riding habits and terrain. On longer rides, set the convenient cruise control to make those long journeys comfortable. When you do need to charge the Li-Ion battery, it takes approximately 4.5 hours to fully charge it. The SR-5S has 350 watts max power and 500 watts of torque (14.75 ft lbs) via a 36V/7.8 Ah Li-Ion battery pack (30 LG cells).
The dual braking system is comprised of a rear disc brake and an electrical brake up front. Feel confident in your ability to stop or slow down quickly and safely when needed. The rapid charge Li-Ion battery and electronics are located in the deck which reduces the center of gravity for a safer more steady ride. The unique pivot, lock folding mechanism greatly reduces steering play by forming a robust joint between the handlebars and front fork.
